We have specifically chosen to work with jute, because the material has several unique properties. It is strong, natural and durable.

We get single crop organic jute material that we colour with vegetable colour to create a new type of expression and pattern of the rugs. The knots are made in a directional and spaced pattern to increase softness and make the rugs more comfortable to walk on barefoot.

All the the rugs are made in the Bhadohi, India.

Basic Care
• Vacuum regularly using suction only (no rotating brushes).
• Shake outdoors to remove dust.
• Rotate every few months for even wear.

Cleaning
• Blot spills immediately with a dry cloth.
• For stains, use mild soap and water — dab gently and dry thoroughly.
• Avoid soaking. Jute is sensitive to moisture.

Placement
• Use indoors in dry areas only.
• Pair with a rug pad for stability and airflow.
• Avoid direct sunlight to reduce fading.

Some shedding is normal and will lessen over time.
